          Tatuowanie ciała to zwyczaj sięgający czasów starożytnych. Najstarszy udokumentowany ślad pochodzi z Egiptu, gdzie odnaleziono mumię wytatuowanej kapłanki sprzed 2000 lat p.n.e.

          Tatuaż w dawnych czasach pełnił funkcję symboliczną, min. był używany do zaakcentowania przynależności do danego plemienia lub grupy społecznej. Obecnie  tatuaże wykonuje się głównie w celu ozdabiania  ciała. Na szczęście tatuaż już dawno przestał być synonimem kryminalistów, a coraz częściej postrzegany jest jako prawdziwa sztuka.

          Dzisiaj tatuaż to przejaw mody. Popularne stały się tatuaże z henny. Tatuaż stał się artystyczną formą ekspresji. Dla niektórych stylem życia...
